Reward for Academic Excellence

Introduction

Reward for academic excellence is an educational support initiative by Misstybs Foundation designed to recognize academic excellence and encourage continued learning among secondary school students. The program supports outstanding students while also appreciating the role of parents and school leaders in nurturing academic success.

How the project was executed

The foundation visited three secondary schools: Army Day Secondary School, Aroro Kole Community High School, and Ojoo High School. A total of 18 students were selected and rewarded with basic educational needs, and each student’s parent received a ₦5,000 token in recognition of their support. In addition, three head teachers from the participating schools received training. The scholarships awarded were named in honor of individuals as a way of celebrating impact and legacy.
